Lara offers both face to face counselling services and telehealth appointments
Counselling sessions may be eligible for rebates through the following pathways:
Medicare: Rebates can be claimed if your child has a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from their GP or pediatrician.
NDIS: This clinic accepts self-managed and plan-managed NDIS funding.
Private Health Insurance: You may be able to claim rebates depending on your fund and level of cover (please check with your provider regarding Educational and Developmental Psychology services).

Discussion of strategies, resources and supports to parent your young person
Note phone consultations with parents less than 15 minutes will not be charged.

Consultation with school eg. Attendance at a Meeting/ Phone/ Teleconsultation

Professional Supervision
In addition to counselling children, adolescents, young adults, and parents, Lara offers professional supervision services to both provisional and fully qualified psychologists.
Lara is an AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor with endorsement in Educational and Developmental Psychology. Her supervisory style is supportive, encouraging, and highly collaborative. She focuses on providing practical ideas, resources, and clinical perspective built on her 27 years of experience as both a educational psychologist and a special educator. Lara has particular expertise in cognitive, educational and behavioural assessment and reporting.

Simple admin tasks, such as reading though logbook and making short comments are included in the price.

Supervision for fully qualified psychologists

Lara will read through an assessment report (cognitive/ educationals/behavioural) and make suggestions to improve the report and recommendations- this includes a 30 minute consultation about the findings (face to face or telehealth)

Cancellation Policy and Fees
Appointments & Cancellation Policy
To secure your appointment time, we require valid card details at the time of booking. We understand that life happens and plans can change unexpectedly. Because your session time is reserved exclusively for you, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice: Incur a late cancellation fee equal to 50% of the session cost.
Missed appointments (No-shows): Incur the full cost of the scheduled session.
Providing notice allows us the opportunity to offer the time slot to another client who may be waiting for support. Thank you for your understanding and respect for our shared time.
