Lara is an Educational Psychologist with over 27 years of experience supporting children, families, and educators across independent and government schools, community settings, and private practice. With a background in psychology, teaching, and special education, she is passionate about building supportive connections with young people, helping them identify their strengths, overcome challenges, and develop their unique talents.

Lara specialises in cognitive, educational, and behavioural assessment. Her reports are rich in observation and offer practical, tailored recommendations, informed by her extensive experience working in schools with young people, teachers, and administrators.

She brings a warm, creative, and eclectic counselling style, drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches. Lara particularly enjoys working with neurodivergent young people, and appreciates the passion, creativity, and deep interests they bring to the world- something that has inspired her own enthusiasm for everything from RuPaul’s Drag Race, to off-broadway musicals, social-strategy reality TV,  and even the occasional horror podcast.
